Why Choose Anchor for Bareboat Yacht Charter?
- Quality boats from owners we trust:
We don't work with every boat on the water, only the ones that meet our exacting standards. Our brokers have personally inspected every yacht in our fleet, sailed with every owner, and can tell you exactly what to expect from your boat.
- Expert route planning (if you want it):
You're the captain, but that doesn't mean you're on your own. Our local specialists can suggest the best anchorages for your dates, warn you about weather patterns, and share insider tips that'll make your trip unforgettable.
- Real advice from real sailors:
Our bareboat team are all experienced sailors themselves. They understand the difference between a sailing holiday and a floating hotel experience. When you call with questions, you're speaking to someone who's been exactly where you are.
What Qualifications Do I Need?
We take safety seriously (but we're not bureaucratic about it)
Minimum requirements:
- Valid sailing certificate (RYA Day Skipper, ASA 104, ICC, IPC or equivalent)
- VHF SRC certificate (Croatia & Italy)
- Demonstrable sailing experience in similar conditions
- At least one crew member with recent sailing experience
New to an area? Our brokers can recommend additional training, local familiarization, or even a skipper for the first day to help you get oriented.
Rusty skills? We can arrange refresher training or connect you with local sailing schools.
